Bryntirion Interpretive Panel Installation

On a very dull and drizzly day, belying the fact that it was 26th June, the Bryntirion Interpretive Panel was installed on the boundary wall of the old Llanelli Work House. The frame was fitted by Huw from Tumble Forge and the panel by Alan Williams, the Graphic Designer, ably assisted by Tim Jones an avid local photographer. The installation was soon completed and as we were on our way the first member of the public was seen studying the panel.

This was Mr Alwyn Bowen Hurren a long time resident of Bryntirion Terrace and a local historian of Llanelli Parish Church. His first job was as an apprentice electrician working at the Work House. We trust he will be the first of many to take an interest in this new Interpretive Panel by Llanelli Community Heritage.

Llanelli Community Heritage would like to thank our sponsors, Charles Church housebuilders, and Fund for Wales for their assistance with this panel.
